Mattioli Woods agrees new three-year sponsorship deal with Leicester TigersLeicester Tigers and Mattioli Woods today announced the signing of a further three-year partnership deal. The Mattioli Woods name and branding will remain on the Tigers’ home and away shirts and at Welford Road’s 3,000-seater East Stand.
Leicester Tigers is England’s most successful rugby team, but it isn’t just about winning and accolades. This is about creating a community spirit, inspiring dreams and the pure passion that the sport brings.
This mirrors the passion and dedication of everyone at Mattioli Woods, both locally in the purpose-built Leicester office and across the UK. While the coach and players agree the tactics on the pitch to create a winning formula, the consultants at Mattioli Woods do the same to deliver the best possible outcomes to the people who trust them to protect and grow their finances, no matter what stage of life they are.
The company utilises the excellent facilities and inspiring surroundings of the club through their sponsorship of one of Leicester’s most popular networking events ‘The Business Club’, which is held three times a year. Ant Middleton, Sir Jeffrey Archer, Major General Jonathan Shaw and Lord Digby Jones have all been keynote speakers at these events, which see more than 100 business leaders attending.
Mattioli Woods also runs the annual Rothely 10k run, which takes place in Leicester. Leicester Tigers’ players, staff and supporters have regularly been involved with players such as internationals Ben Youngs and Tatafu Polota-Nau helping to promote the event.
Andrea Pinchen, commercial director at Leicester Tigers, said, ‘Without the generous sponsorship and support of businesses our club would not be the success it is.
‘Not only do Mattioli Woods sponsor our shirts and East stand, but players and staff also benefit by receiving invaluable financial advice. We thank them for their continued support.’
Ian Mattioli MBE
, chief executive officer at Mattioli Woods, added, ‘Leicester Tigers is in our blood, we can see such dedication within all the team, and we hope the 2019/20 season will put the Tigers back to challenging for cups and league titles.
