Having obtained a master’s degree in international financial and political relations in 2021, Max began his financial services career working for an investment management and stockbroking firm in his hometown of Leicester.
While he found a genuine interest being in and around investment, and macroeconomic-related discussion, the office-based nature of his job felt at odds with his desire to work in a client-facing role.
Max joined Mattioli Woods in January 2023, where he began by shadowing senior consultants to their client meetings, which provided exposure to a host of different areas of planning, including pension and retirement planning, managing personal wealth, and dealing with matters relating to financial protection and inheritance tax planning.
Having obtained his CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, Max is now applying his acquired knowledge and experience to his own clients to help achieve their financial goals through the implementation of a bespoke wealth management strategy.
Honesty and transparency are Max’s non-negotiables, and he believes these are vital to building long-lasting client relationships.
In his spare time, Max can be found playing football for his local Saturday league team, Glen Villa Football Club or enjoying a round of golf at Scraptoft Golf Club.
