Arcus Global was established in 2009 by two Cambridge graduates and is a Cloud-computing business who use digital innovation to help public sector organisations serve the public better.
The company has grown considerably over the past few years and now employs over 100 people, some of the brightest minds in tech development.
Arcus’ CEO received our mailshot and asked Becky Crisp, Head of HR & Operations, to meet with Mattioli Woods to discuss their overall employee benefits package.
Becky was keen to review the company’s reward and retention objectives as well as make sure the benefits attracted the right people within the tech business. Arcus Global offer a great benefits package for a company this size. When Mattioli Woods were first appointed, Private Medical Insurance was modernised to include comprehensive cover and access to a unique range of discounts and health improvement programmes. Since our journey began a couple of years ago, Mattioli Woods helped Arcus go through auto enrolment and ensure their pension scheme complies with legislation requirements.
Financial education is very important for Arcus and one of the reasons Mattioli Woods were brought in is to run presentations and one-to-one’s with employees on a quarterly basis. The pension framework has seen so many changes in recent years that having advice is an invaluable tool for employees to make informed decisions, with 70% of people admitting to spending time thinking about their finances instead of working.
